Crew consists of (8) Men and (2) Women

3 Aspects of the Ryder Cup

Doubles - This will be a round robin style tournament.  The Captain will choose the pairings for your team. 

All Team 1's will play each other.  All Team 2's will play each other and so forth.  All Women's Teams will be Team 5.

Singles - Single Elimination March Madness Style Bracket

Team 10 - The most exciting tournament of the year.  All ten players will play.  5 players on each side.  With each player throwing 1 bag each.

The Crew with the most victory's will WIN the Tournament.

In order to reserve a spot the Captain will need to pay $110 by June 1st
 

$550 per crew (competitive division) (10 spots)

$350 per crew (social division) (8 spots)

*gate fee of $5 due at the gate that day.

2013 RYDER CUP RULES

1. There will be five conferences for Ryder Cup 2013

5 - northwest Fort Worth, northeast Dallas, central Texas Austin, southeast Houston, southwest San Antonio


2. There can be unlimited number of teams in each conference

3. 90 % of your team has to come from inside your conference.
     You are allowed to pickup 1 player either a guy or a girl
     You are not able to pickup these players until after TCL annouces you can. Estimated date July 8th

4. If you would like to form a team you need to submit to be a captain and be paid up by June 1st ($110)

5. Rosters for players inside your conference have to be submitted by July 1st

6. Any Captain from the previous year has first right of refusal for his players before the player is able to move to another team in their conference. (Only applies to players that live in your conference)
7. Any captain has first right of refusal for any player in their conference (if a player refuses to play on a team in their conference. Then they are not able to play for any team outside of their conference)
*Captains it is your responsibilty to turn in to TCL any player that refuses to play for your team.  That we can put them on the restricted list.


After July 8th

8. After July 8th a player (that was not selected for a team in their conference) can seek a team out side of their own conference as long as option b or c were chosen in question 3. Players have the power to choose

Out of region exceptions

Family rule - immediate family members can choose to play on the same team regardless of residency (parent/child, husband/wife, siblings) once you choose a conference you have to play for that conference to keep family rule in place. 

Emergency Rule - a player drops out at last minute for an emergency. You can find a player in your conference at anytime

Or if you need a player from the host conference it requires majority approval of the current regional directors (not the captains).
